Tugboat Naming Ceremony
The Brief – To celebrate the arrival of two new Tugboats, create an event around a tugboat naming ceremony followed by a luncheon and speeches.
The Event – Airlie Events was responsible for coordinating two event locations and transporting approximately 50 guests between these locations. The ‘Naming Ceremony’ was held on the wharf and included a traditional ‘Welcome to Country’, speeches and tours of the new Tugboats.
Luncheon was hosted on the mainland where guest watch the ‘Cannon Dance’ before lunch and speeches.
Airlie Events also sourced event marquees, sound equipment, entertainers, photography and coordinated merchandise delivery.
