Welcome to Flametree Gathering!
It’s time to breathe deep, slow down, and settle in for three soul-nourishing days under the stars for the 2026 Flametree Gathering.
This is a grassroots celebration of music, connection, and community, where folk, funk, rock and roots weave together in perfect harmony. Returning to Lake Proserpine the festival unfolds in a relaxed lakeside setting shaped by campfires, expansive views and long, glowing sunsets.
Across three days, audiences can enjoy a carefully curated program of live, original music, storytelling & intimate performances from Australian artists. There will be local food vendors, small markets and plenty of space to simply take it all in. Whether you’re watching from a camp chair, dancing barefoot or settling in as the sun goes down, Flametree unfolds at an easy pace, designed to feel welcoming and relaxed.
Flametree Gathering proudly supports Eco Barge Clean Seas Inc., the local legends quietly working to keep the Whitsundays free of ocean rubbish. We have proudly raised $10K over the last 3 years to support their ongoing marine debris removal programs and Turtle Rehabilitation Centre.
The event also continues its commitment to Zero Waste management. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable cups, plates and cutlery, with waste separation stations available throughout the site. Food and market stalls operate with sustainability in mind to help minimise landfill and reduce the event’s environmental footprint.

Markets and food trucks will keep you fuelled, and if you’ve got little ones, know they’re welcome too (and under 12s free, must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Ryan Giles
Ryan Giles is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose groove-filled blend of blues, roots, funk and reggae has entertained audiences across Australia for more than 20 years. Returning after performing at Flametree Gathering’s first festival, Ryan and his band bring uplifting energy, storytelling and infectious rhythms.
As You Are
As You Are weave rhythm, movement and atmosphere into immersive live experiences. Blending didgeridoo, percussion and electronic layers, their sound drifts between earthy, tribal grooves and hypnotic, dance-floor moments designed to move bodies and minds alike.

ARIA Award finalist Paul Greene is one of Australia’s most respected independent singer-songwriters. Blending folk, roots, soul and Americana, his honest songwriting and captivating performances have connected audiences for more than 25 years through warmth, humour and exceptional musicianship.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Dylan Hammond, Dylza Band blends roots, reggae, funk, folk and soul into dynamic live performances.

Niq Reefman is an inventive musician, performer and creator of extraordinary musical experiences. Bringing his whimsical Silkwood Wagon and advanced ukulele workshop to Flametree Gathering, Niq combines theatre, storytelling, original instruments and playful imagination into unforgettable performances for all ages.
The Flaming Allstars
David Flower & the Flaming All Stars bring a joyous, high-energy twist to folk, blues and soul. Expect groove-heavy rhythms, poetic lyrics and plenty of playful moments, with a live show that’s as fun and loose as it is musically rich!
Soul Practice by Bronwyn Garland
Bronwyn Garland is the co-founder of Flametree Gathering and creator of Soul Practice. Through guided mindfulness, reflection and her Soul Practice Oracle Cards, she creates meaningful spaces for connection, creativity and wellbeing.
Accompanied each morning by live music from David Flower, Bruce Sticks and René Goetjes.
René Goetjes – Yoga
Yoga teacher, musician and facilitator René Goetjes combines movement, breath and sound to create grounding, inclusive experiences. With over 16 years’ teaching experience, she shares yoga sessions and supports the daily Soul Practice with live music, helping festival-goers reconnect through wellbeing, creativity and community.
La Lune Croker
Visual artist La Lune Croker creates stunning lanterns and sculptural installations that transform spaces and bring communities together.
A founding Flametree Gathering artist, her handcrafted works create warmth, wonder and a welcoming atmosphere that has become part of the festival’s unique identity
Brigitte Peel
Brigitte Peel, founder of Sunbird Studios, is a visual artist and creative facilitator passionate about colour, creativity and community.
At Flametree Gathering she’ll transform festival spaces through vibrant décor while leading a fun Parasol Painting Workshop for all ages.
Donna Maree Robinson
Donna Maree Robinson is an internationally exhibited visual artist creating immersive projections, installations and public art inspired by nature, light and environmental awareness.
Her mesmerising visual works have transformed festival spaces with beauty and wonder.
Yooribaya Cultural Experience
Returning for their third year, Yooribaya opens Flametree Gathering with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
Through storytelling, ceremony and cultural sharing, they honour Country, celebrate Aboriginal heritage and create meaningful opportunities for connection, respect and understanding.

Other Information
Camping – Book your camping direct with Lake Proserpine. We recommend coming and setting up and settling in the night before. Alternatively you can live in luxury and have it all done for you! Book your glamping experience directly with Whitsunday Holiday Park – Lake Proserpine
Pets – We are dog friendly however they will need to remain on a leash at all times. You will obviously need to clean up your dog’s poo. No bags are provided. Dogs that bark will be asked to leave.
Rubbish – Please take your own rubbish with you, where possible bring reusable containers for use at food stalls to reduce your impact. There will be bins provided for bottles and cans. Please leave your 10c refundable recyclables in the bins provided.
Cash – There is very little mobile service. Please bring cash for purchasing from stalls and raffles.
Mobile Service – Telstra is available however there is very limited service available for other providers.
Kids Under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 4 children to 1 adult. They will be turned away from the event if they’re not with a responsible adult or parent.
