Paint & Sip Fundraiser – Fauna Rescue Whitsundays

Unleash your inner artist for a cause that truly matters! The Merinda Village Hotel is hosting a Paint & Sip Fundraiser on Saturday 1st November, 4pm – 7pm, and you’re invited to an afternoon where creativity meets community spirit.

For every ticket sold, $15 will be donated directly to Fauna Rescue Whitsundays, helping care for owls, koalas, cockatoos, and other local wildlife in need.

Sip on your favourite drink, enjoy some nibbles, and let the good vibes flow as you paint. Guided by a friendly instructor, you’ll create your own masterpiece step by step – no experience needed! Bring your friends, enjoy a drink (or three), share some laughs, all while helping raise much-needed funds for animal rescue.

Fauna Rescue Whitsundays is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife in the Whitsunday region. They operate a 24-hour wildlife hotline and provide educational talks to schools and community organizations. The organization encourages community participation in their activities, including volunteering and fostering care for local wildlife. They focus on using a “soft release” method to help animals return to their natural habitat safely.
