Flametree Gathering 2026
Welcome to annual Flametree Gathering!
It’s time to breathe deep, slow down, and settle in for three soul-nourishing days under the stars for the 2026 Flametree Gathering.
This is a grassroots celebration of music, connection, and community, where folk, funk, rock and roots weave together in perfect harmony. Returing to Lake Proserpine the festival unfolds beside calm freshwater, wide open skies and natural bush surrounds – a relaxed lakeside setting shaped by campfires, expansive views and long, glowing sunsets.
Across three days, audiences can enjoy a carefully curated program of live music, storytelling and intimate performances, alongside local food vendors, small markets and plenty of space to simply take it all in. Whether you’re watching from a camp chair, wandering between stages or settling in as the sun goes down, Flametree unfolds at an easy pace, designed to feel welcoming and unhurried.
Flametree Gathering proudly supports Eco Barge Clean Seas Inc., the local legends quietly working to keep the Whitsundays free of ocean rubbish. We proudly donate $5 per ticket is donated to support their ongoing marine debris removal programs and Turtle Rehabilitation Centre.
The event also continues its commitment to Zero Waste management. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable cups, plates and cutlery, with waste separation stations available throughout the site. Food and market stalls operate with sustainability in mind to help minimise landfill and reduce the event’s environmental footprint.

Get to Know our Artists
David Flower is a folk and roots artist and storyteller who captivates audiences with his original songs, performed in his distinctive and delightfully quirky style. With a dynamic voice and a deep connection to the acoustic guitar, he also brings harmonica and ukulele into the mix, staying true to the raw, earthy sound of his genre. A natural storyteller and accidental comedian, David keeps listeners on their toes with his sharp wit, unpredictable turns, and poetic wordplay. His performances have a spontaneous energy, effortlessly weaving humor, insight, and social commentary that leaves audiences entertained, moved, and wanting more.
In a very special Flametree Gathering show, David will form the Flametree All Stars with Karl S Williams on keys, Sally Wiggins on drums and Josh Notting on bass along with other special guests.

Soul Practice by Bronwyn Garland is a guided deep relaxation meditation infused with intuitive practices from the Soul Practice Oracle Cards – a self-healing tool created by Bronwyn Garland. Designed to support alignment with soul, earth, and community, this practice gently restores harmony and wellbeing. Bronwyn’s hypnotic voice leads the journey, accompanied by the soulful guitar of David Flower, grounding resonance of Bruce Wix on didgeridoo and sublime talents or Rene Goetes on crystal singing bowls, indian flute and medicine drum . Together, they create a soundscape that invites inner peace, emotional clarity, and spiritual connection.
